Fifth Class Visit to the Library
On Thursday 18th October we went to the library which is a Carnegie library. We went to meet Helena Duggan. We have been reading her book ‘A Place Called Perfect’. It’s very good. Helena read us a chapter. She is very nice. We asked her lots of questions. She said we had lots of great questions and ideas. Helena gave our teacher ‘A Place Called Perfect’ bookmarks for everyone in the class. Everyone loved the book and our teacher is still reading it to us. I think it is one of the best books ever! Helena is now working on a new book called ‘A Load of Rubbish’. I just hope it’s as good as ‘A Place Called Perfect’! It’s hard to believe a normal girl from Kilkenny can become such a great author!
