Orienteering
Orienteering is an exciting and challenging sport that combines running with navigation. The aim is to navigate between marked points on a map at different levels of difficulty to suit your ability and age. The children of St. Canice’s Co-Ed, particularly those from the senior classes partake in local competitions organised by the South East Viking Orienteering Club. Our school has attended events in Kilkenny Castle Park, Jenkinstown and Woodstock, Inistioge as well as at the JFK Memorial Park and Arboretum in Wexford.
