Hi everyone! Welcome to our 6th class page
A massive congratulations to all in sixth class who have graduated this week after eight years in primary school. You have grown and matured throughout your time in St Canices and I'm sure your families are so proud of you all. FREE ONLINE ACTIVITIES

This website shares many links to free online activities and games.
Examples:
Duolingo – this is a good chance to sign up and start learning a new language in preparation for September. If you know what language you will be studying you can get a head start here
Club SiKidz – this site demonstrates a daily experiment with materials you have at home and it gives you all the scientific knowledge you need to fully understand.
Scholastic – I love this site! There’s so much in it: fact, fiction, debates, real life stories, information. They give you a daily schedule which is quite long but even if you just choose one or two articles to look at each day. I think you’ll really enjoy it when you get used to it. You could choose Grade 3-5 or Grade 6-9
Khan Academy - Free lessons and activities in Maths, Science and Humanities
Maths games
Ted Ed - Ted talks for children - including a daily activity
Rebel Girls - from The Good night stories for Rebel girls author - various activities to try at home
Audible - Audible Stories, where kids can listen to great works of literature. Selections run the age gamut, from Beatrix Potter and Winnie the Pooh all the way up to Moby Dick and C.S. Lewis.
This is just a selection - the above link will take you to them all. Enjoy!
