St. Canice’s Co-Ed. Multicultural Afternoon
St. Canice’s Co-Ed. Multicultural Afternoon Thursday May 26th 1.30 -3.30pm
There has been a great response to the Parents’ Association invitation to participate in our Multicultural Afternoon. Thank you to all parents, teachers and pupils who are working on this project for Thursday and to the Parents’ Association.
On Thursday, there will be projects on display in the hall on the following countries:
Lithuania, Latvia, Fiji, Poland, China, Malaysia, Egypt, Reunion, The Philippines, Australia, England and Pakistan.
Projects on Sudan, South Sudan, India, Romania , Ukraine and Argentina will be accompanied by parent “ambassadors” for their country .
Additional music/dance performances will take place as per the timetable below.
We invite you to come and visit the hall on Thurs afternoon. Parents of Junior and Senior Infants are welcome to collect their children and bring them to the display.
Similar to the day of the Carol Service, the barrier will be raised from 1pm to provide additional parking The pupils will have an early lunch to keep the yard as clear as possible but please be vigilant and bear in mind that you are driving in a school yard where children are used to moving in a traffic free environment.
The Parents’ Association will also provide refreshments for the adults on the day.
