Lost Property
Please start collecting coats and jackets etc There are three baskets full of clothes in the lost property room.
Parking on Freshford Rd.
A resident from the Freshford Rd. has called to me in an effort to alleviate the problems our parents are causing by parking on the Freshford Rd., Banim Terrace etc. She is regularly blocked into her driveway and cannot exit to get to work. She will also be making a complaint to the Gardaí. I ask once again to be considerate and law abiding in your parking. The set down area at the school works really well when parents and children have made the arrangement to collect at that point.
Waiting Lists
We have waiting lists, including some Parish applicants, for all classes for next September, so if you know that you will be moving before September please let me know immediately.
Sports
Congratulations to our A hurlers as they beat Kilmanagh to win the Roinn A title for a record 6 years in a row. Commiserations to our B panel who gave a fine display before being beaten in the final by a stronger Johnstown side.
Our A camogie side will meet Kilmanagh also in the Roinn A final with date and venue TBC.
Well done to Amy Clifford, Faye Fennelly and Tara McGrath who represented Kilkenny in great style at half time in the Senior Camogie Leinster final last Sunday.
Amy, Faye, Caoimhe Carroll and Margaret Mary O’Shea travelled to Portlaoise today as part of the Kilkenny squad for a Leinster 7-a-side blitz. Ms Murphy and Ms O’Grady were Kilkenny team managers for both events.
All our classes have qualified for the Class League finals which will be held in June again, date and venue TBC.
Medal presentation will be organised once all matches are finished.
Huge thanks to all our teachers who spend their lunch breaks in James Park coaching and supervising the children from 2nd-6th class. It is a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop their skills and couldn’t be done with the goodwill and expertise of our teaching staff.

The final Charity Collection of the year will take place tomorrow. We will collect for Margo’s Charity. The funding helps local couple Margo and Eamon Wallace work in Africa with children in need.
Féile Fundraiser
On Friday June 9th there will a cake sale as a joint fundraiser for the three groups attending Feile.
