Dates to Remember:


School Closed next Friday May 25th for Referendum Voting.


Tuesday June 19th: Junior Infant Induction Day 11.30-12.30


School Closed Mon 4th, Tues 5th and Wed 6th June as per School Calendar






Bishop Farrell
Our new bishop, Dermot Farrell, will visit our school next Monday May 28th.  He would like to meet the Confirmation classes and hopefully will have time also to visit some of the other classes. As this is a formal occasion all pupils should wear full uniform. (School tracksuit only if it is the class P.E. day.)


Summer Uniform
Apart from next Monday, Summer Uniform is now allowed. This consists of white or red polo shirt with red, white, gray, black or navy, appropriate shorts. If long trousers or tracksuit ends are being worn they must be the school trousers or tracksuit bottom


End of Year Reports
End of year reports are due to be posted out on June 14th. Please send in a stamped (€1), addressed envelope to your teacher before this date.


Lost Property
Please start collecting lost coats/ jackets etc.  There are three baskets full of clothes in the lost property room.




Applications
The school is full at the moment. We will be unable to accommodate any more students for the foreseeable future. There are waiting lists for all classes. Please let me know if you will be moving this summer.




Sport
Congratulations to our boys’ swimming team who represented our school in the Leinster Schools’ Swimming Finals last Sunday. They won several individual medals and also won the two relay finals. The team consisted of Marcus Trait, Fionn Drago, Oisín Marry, Samuel John O’Shea and Conor Marry.
