This week we will show you how to make a game at home.
What words will you write in?
- We are not doing new words. We are revising our words.
- Write in 3 words you are finding tricky to learn and the rest can be words you know.
If you are finding them easy to read, your challenge is to try to spell them correctly. Some words you might not know yet, but you might get close.
Look at the word, say it, cover it , write it and then check it!
Step 1: Draw a grid with 9 boxes.

Step 2: Write numbers at the bottom , like us.
Step 3: Write in words.
How to play:
You need a dice.
If you get a 6, you have another go!
You can play with your parent
Each person uses one colour.
- Roll the dice, if you land on a 4, read any word you like in row 3,4.
- Take turns.
- Colour a dot, in your colour, in the box if you read the word.
- The first person to colour a full line is the winner!
- Have fun!
