Information Sheet June 19
Monday/Tuesday:
Airmax, through Abbie Oakey's, (6th Class) Dad James have given us free use of two Inflatable Obstacle Courses, a junior and a senior, for Monday and Tuesday. The inflatables will be manned by Airmax staff. All classes have been allocated a slot for use of the courses.
Monday: following on from last week's Zumba activities, we will have a "Dance for All" on Monday in the school yard. The whole school together, led by Ms Tallis and her class,will dance to two tracks at 10.30am. Wear bright colours again.
Tuesday:
7pm: 6th class Graduation Ceremony in the P.E. Hall
Friday:
Children may bring toys and games. As per school policy, electronic devices, phones, tablets etc are not allowed.
Thursday August 29th School re-opens for 2019/2020
School closes 12 noon for pupils on that day.
Book Rental/Book Support Scheme
Please make sure that you have returned any outstanding school books. As per Mr Hanrick's note, Book Support Scheme Books may be collected July 3rd or 4th or August 26th & 27th.
Book Lists
Book list for next year will be given out this week. They will also be on the website over the summer. The link for online payment for class expenses will also be sent out and these may be paid at any stage over the summer. They are due by August 30th.
School Reports
You should have accessed your child’s report by now on Aladdin Connect. If this is a problem please contact the office.
Sport
Classes 2019/2020
When the recruitment process for teachers for next year has been completed in July, I will email the names of the new teachers to relevant classes.
This week all the classes will be shown where their new room is for September and where they should join their line in the mornings.
. General Amnesty!
As year end approaches, as usual, we will have an amnesty on missing property. If you have or find any school items in your house-jerseys, beanbags, PM readers, books etc I would be grateful if you could drop them back to reception-no questions asked!! This week or next.
Finally please collect all lost property items and remind your child to bring home bags, books, lunch boxes, jackets, gear etc tomorrow. The school will be open next week if you realise that you are missing something. Items remaining will be donated to a charity shop in the summer clearout Tuesday July 9th

Sport
- Thank you to Kilkenny Senior Hurler Cillian Buckley who presented the boys’ and girls’ Roinn A football, hurling and camogie medals and the Girls’ Roinn E camogie medals last Wednesday.
- Best of luck to Cillian and his Kilkenny team mate and past pupil, Bill Sheehan for the Leinster Final and the rest of the Championship.
