We ended our Roinn B league today with a narrow loss against Gowran in James Park. The visitors were much bigger and stronger than we were, and with the aid of the wind they built up a comprehensive half time lead 4-4 to 0-0.
After managerial consultation at the interval, the second half was much better for us. Killian Phelan set us on our way with a long range point, and from there to the end, we dominated. The vast majority of footballers today will be with us next year, and the following year! The experiences they've had this year will stand them in good stead in the future. Our other scorers today were Eoin Dalton 1-0, Darren Lawlor 1-0, Kian Maher 0-1, Tom Carroll 0-1 and ??????
