v Windgap
Roinn C/D
Match 4
In Palmerstown
Windgap 6-1 St. Canice's 2-1
Another game, another loss.
However, there are definite signs there that our youngsters are improving. Indeed, in an odd way, this was a game that could have been won. We failed to convert some good early chances and paid the penalty when Windgap scored three gaols in their first three attacks.
Next week's game will be very tough for us against a strong Callan team. At this stage it looks like a certainty that we will play in the Roinn D for the knock out part of the championship. Here we will meet teams that we have a realistic chance of beating, so we look forward to June hurling.
